# Oxford Chamber Music Foundation (OCMF)

> OCMF is a UK-registered charity (No. 3925390) presenting world-class classical chamber music concerts in Oxford, Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds. Founded in 2000 by British violinist Priya Mitchell, it is one of the UK's leading chamber music festivals, performing in historic Oxfordshire venues including the Holywell Music Room, Christ Church Cathedral, the Bodleian Library, the Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities at the University of Oxford, Burford Church, Asthall Manor and Swinbrook Church.

## 2026 Season

OCMF's 2026 season has two parts:

### Cotswolds Spring Series — 29–31 May 2026

- **29 May 2026 (Fri 7:30pm):** "Dreams and Prayers" at the Church of St John the Baptist, Burford. Programme: Schumann Kinderszenen, Debussy Clair de Lune, Pärt My Heart's In The Highlands, Bloch Prayer, Fauré Après Une Rêve, Joni Mitchell Both Sides Now, Bach Goldberg Variations (arr. string trio). Tickets £30.
- **30 May 2026 (Sat 7:30pm):** "Golden Times — Music, Champagne & Gardens" at Asthall Manor. Vivaldi La Follia, movements from Mozart Sinfonia concertante, Great American Songbook favourites including Gershwin's Summertime. Gardens open from 6:15pm. Tickets £45 (includes champagne and garden visit).
- **31 May 2026 (Sun 3:00pm):** "Let My Heart Be Still" at Swinbrook Church. Schubert String Trio D471, Rebecca Clarke I Bid My Heart Be Still, Mozart Duo for Violin and Viola in G major, Borodin Notturno. Tickets £30.

### New Worlds Oxford Festival — 19–26 September 2026

- **19–21 September:** OCMF Studio Masterclasses led by Meta4 string quartet, Julius Drake, Dorottya Láng, Dirk Mommertz and Alena Baeva.
- **21 September (Opening Concert):** "Dreams and Prayers" at the Sohmen Concert Hall, Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities, University of Oxford. Meta4 perform Crumb Black Angels, Golijov Dreams and Prayers of Isaac the Blind, Dvořák American String Quartet.
- **22 September:** "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" — Dorottya Láng (mezzo soprano) & Julius Drake (piano) at the Holywell Music Room. Eisler Hollywood Liederbuch and Great American Songbook songs.
- **23–26 September:** Festival concerts at the Holywell Music Room and University of Oxford venues.
