COVID-19 guidance
for our audiences:

OCMF will be implementing the following practices at our concerts which are all taking place at the Sheldonian Theatre:

– ticket booking over the phone or website only i.e. not in person at Oxford Playhouse

– e-tickets via e-mail plus guest list sign-off at the venue with Festival staff to remove physical ticket handling

– online downloadable programmes and ‘Living Programme Notes’ presented by artists in concert

– staggered entry and exit to minimise gatherings and make entry and exit more efficient

– making face masks available for purchase at the entrance to wear indoors during the concert

– hand sanitisation stations on entry and exit

– creating a one-way system at venues for exit and entrance as well as toilet facilities, with clear signs and stewarding staff members to clearly direct people

– introducing 2m social distancing between all audience members or bubbles to reduce venue capacity

– cleaning surfaces before and after each performance including seating, toilets, door handles and entrance points

– social distancing, PPE and test and trace procedures in line with government guidelines

We will keep you updated about how our guidelines will be structured going forward so that you can plan your visit to our performances with confidence. This page will be updated on an ongoing basis in line with government guidance so check for updates nearer the concert dates. We will also publish our full risk assessment here prior to the Festival so you can read in detail about how we will be protecting our audiences, staff and musicians whilst presenting these performances.
